Using Multiple Teaching/Learning Strategies
Integrating technology into a course encourages or supports
the use of multiple strategies.
Problems for faculty
- How can multiple teaching/learning strategies used
together (for example in the same lecture)?
- Can they be used to complement one another?
- How assessment can be used as a teaching strategy and how
technology can be used to support assessment?
Goals of this project
- to examine the learning process
- to determine what teaching strategies and assessment
techniques can improve student learning outcomes
- to look for other impacts of technology and assessment on
students (i.e. other outcomes)
- to develop a method for faculty to improve their courses
within a term (rather than by comparison to other courses
or other terms)
