Organization	Divide into 5 -7 sec Make your site only three links deep Toolbar should be discreet, elegant, and efficient
Style Guide	Use tables to give your site a constant grid format Keep your pages short Create style guidelines with some contrast between other sites Establish site wide consistency rules
Audience	Consider how your audience will receive the page Provide an email link for feedback Design for your schools computer lab
Page Size	Keep page size small Set an upper limit for each page Repeat graphics whenever possible
Layout	Put the most important information at the top of the page Decide on a standard width Design content to flow from left to right Design for skim readers Use simple, low contrast backgrounds
